Every now and then, an idea comes along that makes absolutely no sense on paper. The sensible thing would be to walk away, pretend you never saw it and carry on with your day.
But where's the fun in that?
Somebody Stop Me! was born from the same curiosity that makes you wonder what might happen if you stopped following the rules for a moment. One little experiment, one unexpected discovery, and suddenly things are spinning wildly out of control.
The artwork captures that split second when everything changes. A whirlwind of movement, a flash of colour and the unmistakable feeling that someone has just discovered an entirely new side of themselves. Whether that's a brilliant development or a terrible idea is probably best left unanswered.
The beer follows a similar path. We paired Freestyle Motueka, a hop we know and love, with HPA-4029, an experimental variety from Hop Products Australia. Bright lime and citrus meet tropical fruit, fresh grassy notes and a resinous edge, with a firm bitterness adding a little attitude to the soft, hazy base.
Sometimes the best discoveries happen when you stop asking whether you should and start wondering what happens if you do.
